A successful showcase in Amsterdam for Money 20/20 Europe

Money2020 Europe

Our 3-day presence at Money 20/20 Amsterdam, June 2-4th, was a resounding success. Throughout the event, the Verto team engaged in conversations and gained invaluable insights from our industry peers in the fintech space.

Networking and product showcase

A major highlight was hosting "Cocktails with Verto" at our stand (1C223) on Day 2 of the event. This drinks reception proved to be a significant draw, providing a relaxed environment for meaningful discussions with both prospective and existing clients. The event provided an ideal platform to highlight our global impact, sharing success stories from our network of over 5,000 clients with prospective partners.

The Verto stand functioned as a central point for exhibiting the real-world utility of our fintech ecosystem. Members of our sales and product divisions facilitated deep dives into our core technology, specifically Verto Atlas. Our embedded infrastructure empowers enterprises with a unified platform to hold, fund, and manage international payments across more than 190 nations, integrated with comprehensive treasury tools. It serves as an all-encompassing resource for businesses in the emerging market, including fintech innovators, and traders, enabling settlements in less than 24 hours.

Our leadership team addressed industry trends like the rise of Stablecoins and debunked common misconceptions regarding international transactions, particularly showcasing Verto’s seamless payment corridors across Africa.

Key learnings and future outlook

The event underscored several critical themes that will shape our strategy for the second half of the year:

  • The growing importance of emerging markets

Discussions frequently centered on the future of payments in emerging markets and how Verto can facilitate these movements for SMEs and enterprise businesses alike. With expertise in the African corridors, Verto offers seamless transactions with competitive FX in African corridors for the SMEs and enterprise clients.

  • Demand for real-time payouts

Clients are increasingly seeking direct connections in key markets like Europe and the US to enable real-time payouts across various use cases like Fintechs, Marketplaces, exporters and importers across regions in Africa, UAE, and China. Verto has a strategic position in the market when it comes to providing real-time payouts in 190+ countries across 48 currencies.

  • Reliability and compliance

When it comes to emerging markets, a key blocker is trust and the compliance hurdles that create blockers for businesses wanting to trade in the complicated corridors. In an evolving regulatory environment, tools like Verto Atlas are essential and can provide reliability in cross-border transactions. Our product demonstrates the trust with the stamp of compliance that helps businesses streamline their payments in hard currencies across the globe.
